Have you ever been passionate about something you didn't have the opportunity to pursue due to life responsibilities? That was me, Shakira Melisa now the founder of Melisa Ray Brand online clothing boutique. I have always been naturally drawn to clothing. In high school I spent countless hours in my sewing class making clothes for family members and myself. Later I attended college at Fashion Institute of Technology. I now decided to chase my dream of one day having a boutique and I choose the name of my brand because Melisa is my middle name and Ray was my sister's nickname who was tragically taken away from this world way to early. She had great style and was always a fashion inspiration to me.
